I’m lodging a Form BA2 building-permit application in Western Australia for a new timber pergola at my home and I need the final documentation tied up. The structure will be completely freestanding—posts only, no connection to existing walls—and I already have a clear hand-sketch with all key dimensions that I can forward right away. What I’m after: • Full working drawings suitable for WA council submission, showing plan, elevations, footing details and any required connection schedules. • A signed, WA-registered structural engineer’s certification confirming the design complies with the relevant Australian Standards and local wind region requirements. Please base the drawings on my supplied sketch, refine member sizes as needed, and include any notes the certifying engineer needs to reference on their letter or schedule. I’m looking for deliverables in PDF (for council). Once I have both the drawings and the engineer’s certificate, I’ll submit the permit application immediately, so accuracy and compliance are critical.
