Chemical Engineer Needed for Continuous-Flow Electrochemical Pilot Reactor Design Project Description I am looking for an experienced chemical engineer or electrochemical process specialist to design a continuous-flow electrochemical pilot reactor for the production of various classes of organic chemicals and intermediates, including ketones, carboxylic acids, and other organic intermediates. The target production capacity is approximately 1 kg/hour. The project is currently at the concept stage, and I intend to source the required equipment and components in Türkiye and assemble the system locally with professional remote engineering support. The project will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and the relevant permits for the authorized activities. Scope of Work - Evaluate the project requirements and recommend a suitable electrochemical flow reactor configuration. - Perform preliminary process calculations and material and energy balances. - Select appropriate reactor cells, electrodes, power supplies, pumps, cooling systems, and instrumentation. - Prepare a detailed equipment list, technical specifications, and a realistic cost estimate. - Develop process flow diagrams, P&ID, and assembly documentation. - Identify suitable equipment and component suppliers in Türkiye, including local distributors of international manufacturers. - Provide remote engineering guidance during assembly, testing, and commissioning. Required Qualifications Applicants should have demonstrable experience in: - Electrochemical engineering and organic synthesis. - Continuous-flow reactor design and process optimization. - Pilot-scale chemical process engineering. - Equipment selection, sizing, and technical documentation. - Remote assembly support and commissioning.
