Middle School Computer Science Book Design -- 2

Project Overview: We are an educational publishing company looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to help us update the illustrations and images in our computer science textbook series for school students. Currentt requirement is for 1 book. Time of completion: 2 days The textbook content and page designs have already been completed. We have also prepared the images to be inserted, marked the locations where they need to go, and have the previous edition available for reference. The primary responsibility will be to insert the supplied images into the correct locations in the textbook files while maintaining the existing design, formatting, and layout. Scope of Work - Insert supplied images into the designated placeholders in the textbook files. - Use the previous edition as a reference wherever required to identify the correct images, placement, sizing, or context. - Ensure images are appropriately sized, aligned, and positioned within the existing page design. - Maintain consistency in image placement and formatting throughout the books. - Check that images do not overlap with text, headings, page elements, or other illustrations. - Review the completed pages for layout issues and make necessary corrections. - Deliver the final files. Materials We Will Provide - Current textbook files with the text and page design finalised. - Image files to be inserted. - Text placeholders or markers indicating where images need to be placed. - Previous editions of the textbooks for reference.

Requirements

Experience working with book layouts, textbook production, or page-layout software. - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or the software used for the supplied files. - Strong attention to detail and consistency. - Ability to follow instructions and work systematically across multiple pages.
