Manufacturing Procurement Virtual Assistant Needed

I need day-to-day help keeping our manufacturing supply chain running smoothly.

The role

centres on three recurring activities: keeping in touch with our suppliers to confirm lead times and shipment details, tracking every open order through to delivery, and updating our inventory records so stock levels in our ERP always match what is actually on the shelves. Because our vendors are all in the manufacturing space, familiarity with common raw-material terms and basic production timelines will make your ramp-up faster. The workload is steady rather than overwhelming, so an entry-level professional with solid written English, good spreadsheet discipline and a proactive attitude should feel right at home. Typical tools you will touch include email, Excel or Google Sheets, and whichever ERP you are comfortable with (we currently use Odoo but can export/import via CSV). I am available on Slack for quick questions and expect daily status notes that cover supplier replies, any delayed POs and the updated on-hand figures. Deliverables I will use to sign off each week: • A consolidated tracking sheet with the latest supplier confirmations • Updated inventory counts reflected in the ERP export • A brief summary outlining any variances or issues that need escalation If you have reliable internet, are comfortable juggling several open POs at once and enjoy the detective work of keeping data exact, let’s get started.
