Remote Residential Construction Scheduler

I’m looking for an experienced construction professional who can take full ownership of the schedule on several residential builds that are already in design and early procurement. From day one you’ll be mapping the critical path, locking in trade availability, and turning high-level scopes into clear, workable timelines. ** if you are not within the budgeted hourly rate, please do not apply. Because the role is fully remote, strong communication is key. I’ll lean on you to track labour, material and equipment allocations, spot conflicts before they bite, and keep every stakeholder updated with concise progress reports. You are free to work in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Asana, Excel, or any other platform you prefer—as long as you deliver reliable look-ahead schedules and weekly performance summaries. Deliverables • A baseline construction schedule for each project, issued within the first week • Rolling two-week look-aheads updated every Friday • A simple resource matrix that flags upcoming shortages or clashes • A weekly progress report highlighting earned-value, variance explanations, and recovery actions Your schedules must reflect real-world residential sequencing, local lead times, and permit requirements. Accuracy and clarity matter more than the specific software you use.
