I have complete architectural plans for a garage remodel as well as preliminary truss shop drawings. What I am missing is a structural package that my local permitting office will accept. I Ra licensed structural engineer to review the existing documents, upgrade the roof-truss design for a higher load capacity, specify the exact materials we must use, and incorporate the beams that will carry those trusses. The trusses themselves are being prefabricated off-site and delivered, so your drawings need to coordinate with those shop specs rather than redesign the entire assembly from scratch. Your scope will cover only the roof system; foundation and wall framing details are already approved. Once you have verified everything, please issue a signed and sealed set of structural drawings (PDF plus original CAD) that clearly shows all connections, beam sizes, hangers, and any reinforcing necessary for the increased loads. The permit office will also ask for a short structural letter confirming compliance with local code—include that, stamped. I can supply the full architectural set, the current truss layout, and the jurisdiction’s checklists the moment we start.
