Responsive Personal Website Optimization -- 2

My personal site needs a full refresh so it renders beautifully on every screen size and loads lightning-fast. The primary purpose of the site is to share regular personal updates, and a well-designed photo gallery is essential to that experience. Here’s what I’m aiming for: • A clean, modern responsive layout that adapts seamlessly from mobile to large desktop. • Front-end code and assets tuned for speed so Core Web Vitals remain solidly in the green. • An easy-to-use gallery component where I can upload and showcase photos without touching code. Feel free to build with the stack you know best—whether that’s pure HTML/CSS/JS, React, Next.js, or another framework—as long as the end result is fast, lightweight, and simple for me to maintain. I’ll provide existing content and images; you handle the design, implementation, and performance tweaks. When we wrap up, I’d like: 1. The complete, deploy-ready source code. 2. Brief setup instructions so I can push updates myself. 3. A quick rundown of the optimizations you applied (image compression, code splitting, lazy loading, etc.) so I understand how to keep things running smoothly. If this sounds like the kind of focused build you enjoy, let’s get started.
