À propos de l'offre

I’m commissioning a feature-length screenplay that lives and breathes sadness and grief. The story follows a suburban father who learns his teenage son has been killed while carrying out a hate-driven act for a white-supremacist group. Overwhelmed by loss, he kidnaps the group’s leader and broadcasts an interrogation that spirals into a raw exploration of how far love, guilt, and rage can push an ordinary man. Key story pillars • Tone: The primary emotional current must be sorrow; every scene should ache with it, letting any flashes of anger or vengeance flow out of that deep grief—never overshadowing it. • Setting: A recognizable, almost comfortable suburban area. The contrast between neat lawns and the father’s unraveling psyche should heighten the tragedy. • Structure: Mostly linear, but I need occasional flashbacks that reveal the father’s earlier life with his son—moments of warmth that sharpen the loss without slowing momentum. Scope of work – Craft a 100–110 page screenplay formatted to industry standard (Final Draft or Fountain). – Build fully realized characters: the father, the charismatic but chilling leader, and supporting figures whose reactions mirror the audience’s turmoil. – Deliver a gripping first ten pages, a midpoint twist, and a gut-punch finale that honors the emotional weight yet feels earned, not sensational. – Weave in believable logistics for the televised interrogation—technology, media fallout, police response—grounded enough to keep viewers suspended in that “this could happen” space. Acceptance criteria 1. Script meets stated length and format. 2. Emotional through-line of sadness remains intact from first scene to last. 3. Suburban backdrop and flashback placement feel organic, not gimmicky. 4. Dialogue reveals character and theme rather than explaining plot. 5. Final PDF and an editable file delivered on hand-in. If this resonates with your writing style, I’m ready to read a short sample scene (father discovering the news or a mid-interrogation beat) to ensure we’re aligned before green-lighting the full draft. This has a roller coaster of emotions revenge redemption forgiveness choices decisions consequences
