Android Grocery Delivery App -- 2

I’m building a dedicated grocery-only delivery service and need a native Android application created from the ground up. The core experience I’m after is smooth product discovery, an intuitive cart, secure checkout, and real-time order updates—all wrapped in clean Material Design that feels at home on modern Android devices. Core flow • Users sign up or log in, browse or search the grocery catalogue, add items to their basket, pick a delivery slot, and pay in-app. • As soon as an order is placed, the customer sees live status updates and can follow the driver’s route on Google Maps until the groceries arrive. Management tools A lightweight web-based admin (or Firebase console extensions) should let me update inventory, set pricing & promos, assign drivers, and view analytics without touching code. Tech expectations Kotlin (or modern Java) in Android Studio, Firebase Auth/Firestore for user & data storage, FCM push notifications, Google Maps & Places for location services, plus integration with Stripe or a regional payment gateway for secure transactions. Deliverables • APK & Play-Store-ready bundle with signed release keys • Complete, well-commented source code in Git • Admin dashboard (web or Firebase driven) • Setup/installation guide and brief video walkthrough • Two weeks of post-launch bug support Acceptance criteria An order must move seamlessly from “Placed” to “Delivered,” with each status reflected instantly on both the customer’s screen and in the admin panel. Payments must pass a live gateway test, and the app must meet Google Play policy checks.
