Sales Growth Trend Analysis

I will be sharing a clean set of sales data and need a focused analysis that uncovers two things: how our monthly sales are growing over time and which products are truly driving (or dragging) that growth. The work should culminate in clear findings I can present directly to leadership—concise insights, supporting charts, and any key metrics you calculate along the way. Feel free to lean on Python (pandas, matplotlib / seaborn), R, Excel Power Query, or a BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI if it speeds your workflow; the choice is yours as long as the results are reproducible and easy to follow. Deliverables • A brief written summary of monthly sales growth and product-level performance, highlighting notable spikes, dips, and emerging patterns. • Visualizations (line plots for growth, bar or heat maps for product performance). • The working file or notebook with well-commented code or formulas so I can rerun the analysis when new data arrives. Completion is accepted once the numbers in your report tie back to the raw dataset and the visualizations clearly illustrate the two trends requested.
