Novel PDF to Word Conversion

I have a complete but short novel saved as a single PDF; I now need every page transferred into an editable, clean-looking Word document (.docx). The goal is accuracy first—text, chapter breaks, headers, footers, page numbers, and any scene or paragraph spacing must come across exactly as they appear in the PDF so I can move straight into the next editing pass without re-formatting. Please use reliable tools such as Adobe Acrobat, fine-tuned OCR, or any preferred PDF-to-Word workflow that guarantees correct character recognition and keeps italics, boldface, and indentation intact. Manual proofreading at the end of the conversion is essential; I want zero garbled text, missing punctuation, or split words. Deliverable: one fully editable .docx file that mirrors the original layout, ready for immediate revisions and desktop publishing.
