Seamless CRM to Salesforce Migration

I need to move the entire history of our legacy CRM into Salesforce and have every record land exactly where it belongs. The data set covers core customer information plus related sales and support activity, so the migration must respect all relationships, attachments, and time stamps. A standard out-of-the-box org will not be enough for us; I will require several custom fields to mirror unique data points that exist today. Those fields must be created in Salesforce before or during the import, mapped correctly, and visible in the appropriate page layouts. Here is how I picture the engagement: • Audit & field mapping – review current exports, confirm objects, design the mapping sheet, identify the custom fields to be built. • Salesforce configuration – create the agreed custom fields, adjust page layouts, and prepare a clean sandbox or production org for import. • Data migration – use Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or an equivalent ETL tool to bring across customers, related opportunities, activities, and support records in the right order to preserve lookups. • Validation & clean-up – spot check critical records, run duplicate rules, and provide a summary report showing record counts before and after. • Handover – short walkthrough (video call or recorded demo) so my team understands the new field structure and can verify everything. Acceptance is straightforward: record counts match the source, relationships remain intact, and the new custom fields populate correctly without duplications. Once those checks pass, the job is done.
