Extend Python Gambio Import

I already run a Python script that brings supplier data into my Gambio store. Now I need to fold in an other data feed that arrives as a CSV / Excel file / API. The job is straightforward: read the new file, map its columns, and merge or update every product in Gambio. Key points • Source format: CSV or Excel (same logic should handle either). • Data scope: all product information—prices, stock levels, names, descriptions, images, everything contained in the feed. • Product matching: use the EAN / barcode from the file to locate the correct item in Gambio. What I expect 1. Adapt the existing Python script rather than rewriting it. 2. Cleanly parse the file, handle encoding quirks, and ignore empty rows. 3. Update or insert products through the Gambio API or direct database calls—whichever the current script already employs—without breaking current functionality. 4. Log actions and flag mismatches (e.g., EAN not found) to a timestamped report. 5. Provide the updated script and a short README explaining any new config options or dependencies. You will have access to the current script, a sample supplier file, and test credentials for a staging shop. If you know Gambio internals and are comfortable with pandas, openpyxl, or similar Python data-handling libraries, this should be a quick enhancement.
