SEO & Social Media Expert for Sports Site

We are looking for an experienced social media and digital marketing freelancer for an intensive 10-day project supporting the launch and promotion of a new sports media website. The primary focus will be working directly with us to create, improve and schedule engaging social media content through Buffer for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We already have the website, articles, graphics, videos, branding and content ideas. We need a creative person who can work alongside us to turn this material into catchy posts, headlines, captions, promotional ideas, ads and strong calls-to-action (CTAs) designed to increase engagement and drive traffic to the website.

Responsibilities

will include: Creating and scheduling content through Buffer Developing catchy posts, captions, headlines and CTAs Helping develop promotional and advertising concepts Optimizing content for Facebook, Instagram and for our YouTube channel. Promoting the website launch and important content Basic SEO review and improvements Monitoring results and helping improve the campaign during the 10-day period We prefer someone who genuinely follows and understands professional sports with special emphasis on the NFL. Must be responsible and easy to work with and have patience with someone who is non-technical. Experience with Buffer, social media marketing, sports content, WordPress and SEO is preferred. This is initially a 10-day paid project (due to a limited startup budget, not highly paid) but with the significant possibility of ongoing monthly work if the relationship is successful.
