HR Recruiter For Startup

I run a young, fast-growing startup and I need help hiring a solid mid-level Human Resource professional who can step in on a contract basis and set up our people function from scratch. I’m looking for a recruiter who already understands HR frameworks, has an eye for culture fit, and knows where to source candidates who combine formal HR studies with proven, hands-on experience. Here’s what I’d like you to handle: first, refine the role profile with me so the expectations are clear; then source, screen, and interview prospects using the usual channels—LinkedIn Recruiter, niche HR communities, referrals—whatever gets us the strongest talent quickly. Once you have a pool, present a concise shortlist (ideally three to five candidates) with resume, salary expectations, and your interview notes so I can move straight to final interviews. The employment we’re offering the successful candidate is contract, so please target professionals who are open to that arrangement and have the maturity to hit the ground running without extensive onboarding. I’ll consider full-time conversions later, but the immediate need is contract only. Deliverable: a vetted shortlist plus your recommendation memo outlining why each person meets our brief and how soon they can start.
