## Senior OutSystems Developer / Architect – Freelance Contract We are looking for an experienced **Senior OutSystems Developer / Solution Architect** for a paid freelance engagement involving the development and enhancement of a production-grade enterprise application. This role is suitable for a senior OutSystems specialist who can work independently, make technical decisions, develop complex modules, integrate external services, and support the application through testing and production deployment. ### Main Responsibilities * Design and develop applications using OutSystems. * Review and improve existing OutSystems applications and architecture. * Build responsive web and mobile-compatible modules. * Design entities, database models, workflows and business logic. * Implement authentication, authorization and role-based access. * Develop and integrate REST APIs. * Integrate external platforms and third-party services. * Implement real-time communication/video integrations. * Work with Microsoft SQL Server. * Integrate applications with AWS services. * Develop custom C#/.NET or JavaScript components where required. * Configure development, testing and production environments. * Optimize application performance and scalability. * Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling and audit trails. * Support QA, UAT, deployment and production troubleshooting. * Produce clear technical documentation. ### Required Skills Strong practical experience with: * OutSystems 11 and/or OutSystems Developer Cloud * Service Studio * Integration Studio * LifeTime * Service Center * OutSystems application architecture * REST APIs * SQL Server * JavaScript * C# / .NET * Authentication and RBAC * Performance optimization * Production deployment ### Preferred Experience Experience with the following is a strong advantage: * Daily.co * WebRTC * AWS * Amazon RDS * AWS Lambda * AWS Fargate * High-availability architectures * CI/CD * DevOps * Monitoring and logging * Disaster recovery * API-first architectures * Applications handling sensitive data ### Candidate Profile We are looking for a **senior developer or architect**, not a junior OutSystems developer. You should be able to: * Work with minimal supervision * Understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Recommend appropriate OutSystems architecture * Identify technical risks early * Estimate development effort * Develop reusable and maintainable components * Troubleshoot complex problems * Review other developers' work * Support production releases ### Contract This is initially a **project-based freelance contract**, with the possibility of ongoing development, maintenance and support work.
