Software Tester with Smart TV in Canada

This opportunity is part of a trusted partnership between Testlio, a global testing and user research company and our client: a globally know, streaming service provider. Why You Are Here We're looking for individuals with specific Smart TVs at home who can join us in testing a streaming platform in October or November. We will be testing the app on various devices in several phases: Requirements: - Location: Germany - Must have at least one of the following devices with Titan OS: Philips TV, Vestel TV, JVC TV What to Expect How to access testing materials In order to access the testing materials and to keep in touch with the testing team during testing, you will be required to create an account on our website, Testlio. This takes approximately 30 minutes and will be paid. Once the contract is initiated, we will provide step-by-step instructions. 2 - 4 hr per most runs, but certain test runs can be longer. If you are availabe for longer test runs, let us know, and we will let you know in advance what the duration might be. Main Focus Areas During the Test: - Install the app build on your TV device following provided instructions - Execute test cases covering: navigation, playback, login/account behaviour, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality - Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots/recordings - Provide feedback on issues found during each run What Happens Next - You'll need to answer a few initial questions as part of your Upwork proposal bid - To further ensure that you're a good fit for this study, we'll expand the questions via messages. - If selected, you’ll be asked to first create an account on our Platform, Testlio. This is where the task will be assigned to you. Account creation will last approximately 30 minutes. You will be paid through the Upwork platform via the contract. Your information will be used only for research purposes and handled according to GDPR standards. All responses are stored securely and shared only with Testlio and our client.
