Startup Holding Company Accounting

I’m building a conglomerate-style holding company and need a seasoned accountant who can keep our books clean from day one and handle upcoming tax preparation. Right now the essentials are: • Accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping • Preparation and filing of all required federal and state taxes when they fall due I’m flexible on tools—QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or another professional platform you recommend—as long as the data stays orderly and exportable for future audits or funding rounds. Because the structure may evolve, I may also ask for guidance on entity compliance and optimal ownership setup once we have more clarity. If you’re comfortable advising on that later, please flag it in your proposal, but it is not mandatory at the outset. Ideal deliverables: • A reconciled general ledger delivered monthly • Quarterly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow) • Ready-to-file annual and quarterly tax returns with supporting schedules Experience with multi-entity or holding-company environments is a plus.
