Electrical & 3D Design for PAW Machine

Electrical Engineer & 3D Product Designer for Plasma-Activated Water Machine (Aqua Lightning) Project Overview At Aqua Lightning, we are developing innovative technology in the field of Plasma-Activated Water (PAW). To turn our concept into a fully functional, market-ready product, we are looking for experienced freelancers for hardware engineering and product design. This project consists of two key phases: * Phase 1: Prototype Development – A design focused entirely on 3D printing and rapid assembly to physically test and validate the concept. * Phase 2: Mass Production (DFM) – Once the prototype functions as expected, we will transition the design for injection molding and large-scale manufacturing. We are seeking specialized expertise in two main areas: Role 1: Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design) Responsibilities: * Design and develop the PCB/schematics for the plasma activation system (including high-voltage drive / power supply, pump control, and sensor integration). * Select components to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable hardware architecture. * Deliver complete Gerber files, BOM (Bill of Materials), and schematics ready for PCB manufacturing. Role 2: 3D Product Designer / Industrial Designer Responsibilities: * Design the outer enclosure and internal mechanical components (water inlet/routing, reaction chamber, mounting brackets). * 3D Printing Optimization (Phase 1): The design must be optimized for 3D printing (FDM/SLA/SLS) to ensure easy fabrication with minimal post-processing. * Ensure waterproofing/sealing, proper isolation around electronics, and ease of assembly. * DFM Preparation (Phase 2): Convert the validated prototype into a production-ready design suitable for injection molding. Desired Skills & Experience * For Electrical Engineers: Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, EasyEDA); experience with power electronics, high-voltage/frequency control, or plasma applications is a major plus. * For 3D Designers: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino); expertise in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM), waterproof mechanical enclosures, and DFM. * Strong communication skills in English.
