Experienced Flutter Developer Needed – Complete & Redesign Existing Social Networking App

We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to take over, redesign and finalize an existing social networking/dating application for **iOS and Android**. ### ⚠️ Important: This is NOT a project starting from scratch The application has already been **developed to a large extent** and is close to completion. A previous freelancer worked on the project for an extended period, but unfortunately failed to complete and properly finalize the application. A significant amount of development work has already been done, including existing Flutter code, screens, functionality and API integrations. However, the project was left unfinished, and there are still incomplete features, bugs, UI/UX issues and functionality that need to be properly implemented and tested. We are therefore looking for an experienced developer who can **take over the existing codebase, understand what has already been implemented, identify what is missing or incorrectly implemented, and bring the application to a professional, production-ready state.** The project has already consumed considerable development time, so we are specifically looking for someone who can work efficiently with an existing codebase rather than unnecessarily rebuilding functionality that already works. ### Existing Project The application consists of approximately **65 screens in total**. However, the previous freelancer did not successfully bring the project to completion. * Reviewing the existing Flutter codebase * Understanding the current architecture * Identifying incomplete and incorrectly implemented features * Fixing existing bugs * Completing the partially developed screens * Redesigning the UI/UX where required * Integrating and correcting existing API integrations * Ensuring all existing functionality works correctly * Implementing missing functionality * Thorough testing on both iOS and Android ### Backend & APIs Are Already Available The **website/backend is fully functional**. The APIs already exist and are documented. We will provide the relevant API documentation and existing resources required for development. The developer will therefore **not be required to build the backend from scratch**. The main task is to take the existing mobile application and bring it to a properly functioning, polished and production-ready state. ### Main Requirements The successful developer will be responsible for: * Flutter/Dart development * iOS and Android support * Modern UX/UI redesign * Existing API integration and troubleshooting * Completion of unfinished functionality * Bug fixing * Firebase/push notifications * Performance optimization * Proper loading, error and empty states * Secure handling of user data * Cross-platform testing * App Store and Google Play preparation ### Quality Is Extremely Important We are **not looking for someone who will simply make the screens look good**. The application must work correctly from beginning to end. All important user flows need to be tested, including API communication, authentication, profiles, interactions, notifications and other documented functionality. We do **not** expect you to blindly start rewriting the application. The first step will be to review the existing implementation, determine what is functional, identify what remains incomplete, and then establish the most efficient path to completion.
