Position Overview We are hiring a warm, highly articulate, and deeply empathetic Legacy Podcast Host / Story Interviewer. Operating from our dedicated "Confessional Pod" studio corner, your sole mission will be to host intimate 1-on-1 spotlight interviews that draw out, honor, and preserve the untold life stories, career milestones, and personal wisdom of our senior members. Role Title: Legacy Podcast Host & Story Interviewer Engagement Type: Part-Time Contract Time Commitment: 2 hours daily on-site during active 15-day cohort cycles Location: On-site Lounge Facility ("Confessional Pod" Corner) Ideal Candidates: Podcasters, journalists, talk show hosts, oral history documentarians, radio presenters, or media/communications graduates with extraordinary empathy and storytelling sensitivity. Key Responsibilities Host 1-on-1 Legacy Interviews: Conduct gentle, respectful, and engaging audio/video spotlight interviews using structured, sequential prompt guides (covering childhood memories, youth ambitions, parenting turning points, and life wisdom). Create a VIP Atmosphere: Establish a warm, comfortable, and celebrity-lounge-style environment where members feel honored, validated, and deeply heard. Active Story Prompting: Ask evocative, subtle follow-up questions to help talkative or shy seniors articulate their personal memories into compelling short narrative audio clips. Basic Equipment Operation: Set up and operate basic studio microphones, voice recording applications, and mobile interfaces smoothly during quiet spotlight interview slots. Key Requirements & Qualifications Exceptional Active Listening & Empathy: Deep patience, emotional intelligence, and warmth when engaging with older adults. Cultural & Storytelling Sensitivity: High respect for Indian cultural heritage, generational dynamics, and nostalgic eras. Basic Audio/Tech Comfort: Familiarity with standard mobile interfaces, external clip-on microphones, and audio recorder apps—no deep video editing required.
