Alumni Membership Website Build -- 2

I’m launching a dedicated website for my high-school alumni community and want to roll it out in phases. Phase 1 is all about getting a smooth membership system online and giving every approved alumnus a rich profile page. Core scope for this first release • Secure sign-up with email verification and an admin approval queue so only verified alumni gain access. • Member profiles must let users add: – Basic contact details and graduation year – Career details, business links, and skills – Photos, interests, and personal updates • Profiles should be visible only to approved alumni members; the public sees nothing beyond a “join” prompt. • Mobile-friendly UI that is easy for non-technical graduates to navigate. • Admin dashboard where alumni-association staff can manage approvals, edit fields, and export member lists. Tech preferences I’m comfortable with WordPress plus tools like BuddyPress, MemberPress, or a comparable membership framework, but I’ll consider any secure stack that makes future add-ons—networking directory, events calendar, merchandise sales, auctions, and other fundraising modules—straightforward. Deliverables & acceptance 1. Live, responsive site hosted on my domain. 2. Registration flow and profile features functioning as described. 3. Admin guide (PDF or short video) covering day-to-day tasks. 4. Two weeks of post-launch support to squash any bugs.
