Project: Launch an Existing Bilingual HTML Website on Hostinger We are looking for an experienced web developer to launch defenseoffshore.com, a vessel brokerage and consultancy website. The website is already designed and built as a static HTML/CSS/JavaScript package. It contains 12 English and 12 Arabic pages, including responsive layouts, images, navigation, FAQs and an extensive enquiry form. This is a deployment and technical completion project. No redesign or WordPress conversion is required. 1. Hosting and deployment * Review the supplied production package and technical checklist. * Deploy the production website to our Hostinger hosting. * Configure defenseoffshore.com and www.defenseoffshore.com with HTTPS and a single preferred domain. * Redirect alternative domain versions to https://defenseoffshore.com/. * Ensure direct access to every page works, including after refreshing the browser. * Configure a proper 404 response for nonexistent URLs. * Preserve the existing email service and DNS records. 2. Contact form and email delivery Connect the existing enquiry form to a secure server-side handler compatible with the hosting. The form includes name, company, email, telephone with searchable international dialling code, sector, vessel type, operating area, budget indication, delivery requirements and technical requirements. Required functionality: * Implement server-side validation and sanitisation. * Add spam protection, rate limiting and protection against email-header injection. * Use authenticated email delivery; keep credentials outside public files. * Set the enquirer’s address as Reply-To. * Provide clear success and error messages in English and Arabic. * Send a simple acknowledgement to the enquirer. * Replace the current local brief-download submission behaviour with genuine submission. * Verify actual email receipt and check SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration without disrupting existing mail. The telephone field must remain in the form. Do not add a public telephone number to the website. 3. English and Arabic functionality * Preserve English at the main domain and Arabic under /ar/. * Ensure the language switch opens the corresponding page. * Preserve Arabic right-to-left formatting without mirroring photographs or logos. * Test navigation, FAQs, category filters and form controls in both languages. Arabic proofreading will be arranged separately. 4. Technical SEO and performance The supplied package already includes SEO preparation. Verify it on the live website rather than rebuilding it unnecessarily: * Correct canonical URLs and reciprocal English/Arabic hreflang. * Correct page titles, descriptions and language attributes. * Working sitemap.xml and robots.txt. * Public content pages are indexable. * Preserve the supplied noindex settings for Privacy and Terms pages. * No accidental staging restrictions or indexing blocks. * Correct image paths, responsive image loading, caching and compression. * No broken links, missing images or browser console errors. Connect Google Search Console and submit the sitemap using owner-provided access. Actual Google indexing is not an acceptance requirement. 5. Final checks and handover * Test all 24 pages on desktop and mobile. * Test real form submissions in both languages. * Preserve the approved design, colours, image proportions and spacing. * Insert final company and legal information supplied by us; flag missing information before launch. * Provide a preview for approval before public launch. * Deliver a backup of the final website, relevant source files and brief maintenance instructions. * Document any third-party services, subscriptions or recurring costs. Completion means: the website is live on the correct domain, both languages work, HTTPS and redirects function correctly, and test enquiries arrive successfully.
