I have a fully-formed concept for a feature-length, 120-page drama set in an inner-city environment where crime, music and community collide. The heart of the story lies in crime and conflict; music is present as atmosphere and motivation, but the tension between survival and morality drives every scene. What I need now is a seasoned screenwriter who can translate this vision into a polished, production-ready screenplay. The script must: • Follow a clear three-act structure, hitting accepted page counts for each act while maintaining steady escalation of stakes. • Center on authentic, layered characters whose choices reflect the harsh realities of inner-city life. • Weave crime and conflict into every beat—drug trade, turf battles, police pressure—without losing sight of emotional depth. • Incorporate music organically: snippets of original lyrics, references to classic tracks, or on-screen performances that heighten pivotal moments. • Conform to industry formatting standards (Final Draft or Celtx), 12-point Courier, correct slug-lines and dialogue blocks. • Arrive at exactly 115–125 pages in its final draft. Acceptance criteria 1. A one-paragraph logline and a 1-page synopsis approved before drafting Act I. 2. First full draft delivered for notes no later than the halfway milestone. 3. Up to two revision passes after feedback, culminating in a locked draft ready for table read. Attach samples of previous crime or music-centric scripts so I can gauge tone and pacing. If you thrive in gritty realism but still find the humanity in every character, we’ll be a strong fit.
