Minimalist Fixed-Layout eBook Design

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital eBook / EPUB Designer to create engaging digital books, illustrations, layouts, and visual assets. This role combines design, illustration, storytelling, and technology to produce polished, visually engaging digital books. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, illustration ability, storytelling sensibility, and familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Canva and Adobe.

Responsibilities

include designing eBook covers, interiors, page layouts, chapter openers, illustrations, and digital assets. The candidate will create original illustrations, characters, visual concepts, and storyboards, translating manuscripts and creative briefs into compelling visual designs. Key design principles such as typography, composition, color, visual hierarchy, and storytelling will be applied. Recommended Tools & Technology: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), AI-powered design tools. Deliverables 1. Final .epub (and .kf8 if you split the exports). 2. A folder containing all illustration and infographic source files (AI, SVG, or layered PSD). 3. One revision cycle after I review the first build. Acceptance criteria: no reflow issues, no validation errors, and all interactive links and TOC entries must function out of the box.
