Optical Sensor and Vibration Bench Testing

REQUEST FOR ITEMIZED FIXED-PRICE QUOTATIONS Personally funded project with no external funding seeks a practical engineer or small team for a small NON-HUMAN bench study using existing equipment wherever possible. Any displayed budget is preliminary only; propose your realistic itemized price. No work, purchase, booking or charges are authorized by this posting. PROBLEM A miniature vibration actuator near an optical pulse sensor may disturb recordings through mechanical coupling, contact changes or electrical interference, including effects after the actuator stops. We need measured characterization, diagnosis and a practical mitigation. These are hypotheses to test, not established findings. Do not assume motor stop means signal recovery. No human testing, clinical claims or full wearable build is requested now. SCOPE Stage 1: agree a written measurement plan, controlled conditions, independent known references, repetitions and acceptance criteria; assemble a simple rig and record synchronized raw optical, vibration/motion and actuator timing data. Stage 2: separately priced and authorized improvement and retesting within agreed iteration and cost limits. Better approaches are welcome. Preserve agreed alert performance and known reference changes; no apparent improvement by weakening the alert, hiding changes or deleting difficult runs. Documented negative findings are valid research; unsupported claims that nothing works are not deliverables. DELIVERABLES All raw runs including failures, traceable run IDs, settings, units, channel definitions, timestamps/synchronization and hardware/firmware versions. Setup photos, representative test videos, test/change logs, analysis and repeatable instructions. Disclose processing and exclusions and distinguish physical measurement from simulation or replayed signals. A dated, versioned PDF report signed by the responsible engineer, with full name, role, actual performers, contracting individual/company legal name and business contact details; company letterhead where applicable. Link findings to run IDs and document equipment, reference/calibration checks, methods, results and limitations. Agree a bounded clarification and selected repeat-test allowance. Formal attribution is not notarization, independent accreditation or clinical certification; do not claim credentials not held. CONFIDENTIALITY AND RIGHTS This is a general non-confidential description only. Necessary implementation details follow appropriate NDA and project-IP terms on a need-to-know basis. Before work agree client rights to use deliverables and share them confidentially with qualified specialists for independent review. Identify background tools/licences, third-party restrictions and contributors/subcontractors. No publication, portfolio use or external disclosure without written approval. An NDA alone does not assign ownership; project-specific ownership and background-tool licences must be agreed separately. CAPABILITY AND QUOTATION Prefer a provider also capable of designing, assembling, testing and delivering a physical wearable prototype later, without any promise of that assignment. Identify actual performers, outsourced work, what can be reused and what must be retested after integration. Please answer: 1. One relevant sensor/actuator-interference project, your personal role and authorized non-confidential evidence; distinguish tested work from proposals. 2. Exact optical acquisition, vibration/timing and independent-reference equipment available NOW, raw-sample access, limitations and calibration/check status. Separate owned/available equipment from purchases or external facilities. 3. Confirm all raw runs, the attributable signed report and confidential independent-review rights above. 4. Smallest useful FIXED-PRICE first stage: itemize setup, recording/repeats, analysis, parts, optional mitigation/retest, currency, taxes/exclusions, earliest start, elapsed duration and stop-cost cap.
