Solar Business Worker Management App We are looking for a developer to build a mobile/web application for a solar installation and maintenance business. The main purpose of the application is to help the business owner/manager assign work to workers, track daily site activities, and monitor task progress from one place. Main Users 1. Boss / Admin The admin will manage all workers and site-related activities. Admin should be able to: - Add and manage workers/employees - Create and assign tasks to specific workers - Add site details and job information - Set task priority and deadlines - View assigned, pending, in-progress, and completed tasks - Track daily work updates submitted by workers - View worker-wise and site-wise work history - Monitor overall project/task progress - Receive notifications when a task is completed or updated 2. Worker / Employee Workers will use the application while working at different solar installation/maintenance sites. Workers should be able to: - Login to their account - View assigned tasks - See complete task/site details - Accept/start an assigned task - Update task status such as: - Pending - In Progress - Completed - Submit daily work updates - Add comments/remarks about the work - Upload photos/videos of completed or ongoing work - Report issues or problems at the site - View their previous completed work Task Management The main workflow should be: Admin creates task → Assigns task to worker → Worker views task → Worker visits site → Performs work → Updates progress → Uploads work details/photos → Marks task completed → Admin reviews the update Dashboard The admin dashboard should provide a simple overview of: - Total workers - Active workers - Total projects/sites - Pending tasks - Ongoing tasks - Completed tasks - Daily work updates - Recent activities Workers should have a simple dashboard showing: - Today's assigned tasks - Upcoming tasks - Ongoing tasks - Completed tasks - Recent updates Site Management Each site should have basic information such as: - Site name - Customer/client name - Location/address - Assigned workers - Assigned tasks - Work status - Work history - Photos and updates Notifications The application should notify workers when a new task is assigned or an existing task is updated. The admin should be notified when workers submit important updates or complete assigned tasks. UI/UX The application should be: - Simple and easy to use - Mobile-friendly - Suitable for workers who may not be highly technical - Fast and clean - Easy to update while working at a site Possible Future Features The application should ideally be designed so that features can be added later, such as: - GPS/location tracking - Attendance management - Worker check-in/check-out - Expense management - Salary/payroll management - Customer management - Inventory/material tracking - Reports and analytics - WhatsApp/SMS notifications Developer Requirements We are looking for a developer who can handle: - UI/UX design - Frontend development - Backend/API development - Database design - Authentication and role-based access - Admin and worker dashboards - Deployment The developer should also provide clean, maintainable code and proper documentation.
