Full-Time Property Management Accountant

I manage a portfolio of more than sixty residential rentals and need a dedicated accountant who can take full ownership of the numbers from rent collection through year-end tax filings. Day to day you will log every rent payment, issue and chase invoices, reconcile the trust account, and keep our books spotless inside Tally Prime. Each month I expect bank reconciliations, an income-expense statement, cash-flow snapshot, and a clear variance report against budget delivered no later than the 5th. On the compliance side you will prepare quarterly and annual tax schedules, maintain supporting work-papers, and respond to any auditor or CPA queries. Everything must be documented and filed in our shared cloud workspace so the data trail is always audit-ready. Communication is entirely in English and we work on U.S. Eastern time, Monday through Friday, roughly 40 hours per week. You will join our weekly video check-in to review receivables, upcoming renewals, and any anomalies you have spotted. Acceptance criteria • 100 % of rent payments posted within 24 h of receipt • Month-end financial package uploaded by the 5th calendar day • Zero unreconciled transactions older than 30 days • All tax forms filed before statutory deadlines with no penalties If you have solid property management accounting experience, master Tally Prime, and can meet the above service levels for a flat $500 per month, I’m ready to onboard you immediately.
