Rapid Interview Audio Summaries

I have a queue of interview and meeting recordings that must be turned around fast. Your task is to listen to each audio file and produce a concise, well-organized summary—not a verbatim transcript. The summaries should capture key discussion points, decisions, action items, and any notable quotes while omitting filler and side conversations. Clarity, correct grammar, and logical flow are essential because the documents will be shared with stakeholders who will not hear the original audio. Turnaround time is critical; once I send a file I’ll need its summary back the same day. You may use any transcription or note-taking software you prefer (Express Scribe, Otter, Descript, etc.) as long as the final text meets the standards below. Deliverables: • One editable Word or Google Docs file per recording • Heading with file name, date, and participants (if mentioned) • Sectioned summary (overview, key points, decisions, next steps) no longer than 30% of the audio’s duration in reading time I will start by sending a short test file; if that comes back on time and in shape, the remaining recordings will follow immediately.
