B2B Retail Sales Rep – Hourly + Commission + Ongoing Residual Income

We are expanding a Canadian retail distribution network and are looking for confident remote sales representatives to contact independent retail businesses across Canada. This is not just a basic hourly cold-calling position.

The opportunity

is designed for salespeople who want to build a book of business that can continue producing income over time. You will be contacting business owners and managers, introducing our retail partner program, sending a visual presentation by WhatsApp when appropriate, and working to establish new retail accounts. Our featured product is a premium sea moss powder, supported by an in-store poster and QR-based referral program. The sales process gives you several ways to get a store on board. We first aim for a full opening package, then a smaller starter package, and when appropriate there is also a limited consignment option. The full package is always the primary offer. The smaller package and consignment option are only used when the retailer does not want to proceed with the full package.

COMPENSATION

The initial paid trial rate is $3 USD/hour. IMPORTANT: $3/hour is only the trial rate. Successful representatives who perform well and consistently produce quality accounts can move to a higher hourly rate after the trial. In addition to hourly pay, the position includes: - Performance-based commissions on new business - Ongoing residual commission on eligible accounts you personally originate - Opportunity to build a long-term book of retail accounts - Additional hours and territories for strong performers The biggest long-term opportunity is in the residual income. When you establish a retail account, that account becomes part of your book of business. As long as you continue working with us and the account remains active and eligible, you continue earning a percentage when that retailer reorders. This means you are not starting from zero every month. As your book grows from 20 stores to 50, 100, 200 or more active accounts, your recurring income can continue growing alongside the commissions you earn from new sales. Depending on the number of active accounts you build and how much those stores reorder, the back-end residual income can potentially grow into hundreds or even thousands of dollars per month over time. There are no guaranteed earnings. Results depend on performance, account activity and reorder volume.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Make outbound B2B calls to independent businesses from provided lead lists - Speak directly with owners and decision-makers - Deliver a short, natural sales presentation - Send our visual presentation/poster through WhatsApp when appropriate - Explain the retail opportunity clearly - Work toward full opening orders first - Use smaller starter packages or consignment only when necessary - Record call results accurately - Follow our approved sales process and calling procedures WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Strong spoken English - Comfortable speaking directly with business owners - Previous cold-calling, telesales or B2B sales experience preferred - Confident, persuasive and conversational - Good objection-handling skills - Comfortable asking for the sale - Reliable internet connection - Quiet calling environment - Comfortable using WhatsApp - Organized and able to keep accurate records - Interested in building something long term Experience calling grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, health-food stores, beauty businesses or other independent retailers is an advantage. Jamaican/Caribbean cultural familiarity is especially valuable for some of our initial campaigns. Other languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and Spanish may also be useful as we expand into additional markets. PAID TRIAL Selected candidates will begin with a short paid trial at $3 USD/hour. The trial is designed to evaluate sales ability, communication skills, objection handling, reliability and overall fit.
