Aluminium Vessel FEA & CFD Analysis

FEA / CFD Engineer – 63m Aluminium Vessel We are looking for a freelance Naval Architect / Marine Engineer to assist with FEA and/or CFD for a 63m aluminium vessel being prepared for RINA class approval. FEA: • Simplified global FEA model based on our existing 3D structural model • Global strength, longitudinal and torsional analysis • Relevant load cases, stresses and deformations • Local FEA of engine foundations • Calculation report for RINA CFD: • Resistance calculations at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 knots and maximum speed. The work can be split between specialists. If you only cover FEA or CFD, we are still interested. Would require to see examples of similar marine/aluminium vessel work, competitive pricing is important.
