Secure VPS & Litecoin Node Setup

I’m starting from scratch and need someone to provision a brand-new VPS, harden it, and turn it into a rock-solid home for a Litecoin full node and my Telegram trading bot. You may choose whichever reputable provider you feel is best—AWS, DigitalOcean, Vultr, or another—as long as it delivers consistent 24/7 uptime at a reasonable price. Server hardening & base build • Configure the OS with firewall rules, SSH key authentication, and disabled password/root logins. • Enable unattended-upgrade or an equivalent mechanism so security patches install automatically. • Set up automated, encrypted off-site backups for both the wallet and any database files. Litecoin full node • Install and fully sync litecoind. • Expose RPC only to the bot host (localhost or a fixed private IP), locking it down with proper rpcuser/rpcpassword credentials and a firewall whitelist. • Store wallet seeds and API keys in an encrypted secrets vault so nothing ever sits on disk in plaintext. • Apply strict filesystem permissions so only the dedicated service account can touch sensitive files. Bot & process management • Configure systemd (or PM2 if you prefer) so the bot and node start at boot, restart on failure, and generate useful logs. • Rotate my Telegram bot token and any other credentials already in circulation. Monitoring & alerting • Implement lightweight monitoring—UptimeRobot, Prometheus + Alertmanager, or another stack—that notifies me the moment the node, bot, or server goes offline. Final review Once everything is live, I’d like an independent security sanity-check with actionable recommendations before I move real funds. The last step will be generating a fresh Litecoin wallet seed, securely migrating the balance, and confirming backups and restores work.
