WordPress Real Estate Marketplace Developer – Houzez + Property Feed/API + SEO Our Financial Health (OFH) is seeking an experienced WordPress real estate developer to build an apartment-search marketplace connected to our existing website. We are looking for someone who has experience with Houzez, real-estate listing feeds/APIs, CSV/XML/JSON imports, and Google SEO. PROJECT GOAL We want to create an OFH-branded apartment marketplace where consumers can search thousands of available rental properties across multiple U.S. cities and states. We plan to obtain rental inventory through a licensed property-data provider such as HousingFeed. We DO NOT want someone to manually enter listings. The property feed must automatically: * Import new listings * Update existing listings * Remove unavailable listings * Import property photos * Import rent, bedrooms, bathrooms, addresses, descriptions, amenities, etc. * Preserve required property-manager/source attribution and outbound links PREFERRED SETUP We are currently considering: WordPress + Houzez + HousingFeed Display Feed We are open to another solution if you can demonstrate that it is better for scalability and SEO. WEBSITE FEATURES The marketplace should include: * Apartment search * City/ZIP search * Rent filters * Bedroom/bathroom filters * Property photos * Individual property pages * Maps/location information * Mobile-friendly design * Property-manager/source attribution * Lead capture * Links/CTAs to our Pathway to Homeownership program VERY IMPORTANT – GOOGLE SEO Our biggest objective is creating a website that can be properly crawled, indexed and ranked by Google. We want SEO-friendly URLs such as: /apartments/baltimore-md/ /apartments/newark-nj/ /apartments/philadelphia-pa/ and individual property pages. We also want the ability to create optimized landing pages such as: * Apartments for Rent in Baltimore * 2 Bedroom Apartments in Baltimore * Apartments Under $2,000 * Apartments in Newark, NJ * Apartments in Washington, DC * Neighborhood-specific searches Developer should understand: * Google Search Console * XML sitemaps * Schema/structured data * Canonical URLs * Technical SEO * Page speed/Core Web Vitals * Mobile optimization * Internal linking * Indexing large numbers of property pages * Avoiding duplicate/thin-content SEO problems IDEAL CANDIDATE Please apply if you have experience with several of the following: WordPress / Houzez / RealHomes / WP All Import / REST APIs / JSON / XML / CSV property feeds / automated listing synchronization / real-estate marketplaces / Google technical SEO.
