I have a set of rough hand-drawn sketches for a manufacturing machine and now need them translated into professional, production-ready CAD files. Your task is to turn each concept into a clean 3D model and a matching set of 2D drawings that cover every individual part and the full assembly. You will start from my scans and notes, ask any clarifying questions, then create a well-structured CAD file tree so the relationship between parts, sub-assemblies, and the final assembly is crystal clear. The documentation must be suitable for machinists and fabricators, so dimensions, tolerances, and call-outs should follow industry standards. I am flexible on software: if you work in SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar, that’s fine as long as you can export common formats such as DWG, STEP, and PDF for shop use and reviews. Deliverables: • Parametric 3D model of the complete machine with named features and organized assemblies • Fully dimensioned 2D drawings for every part and assembly, including exploded views where helpful • A concise Bill of Materials pulled directly from the model • Native CAD files plus DWG/STEP/PDF exports for manufacture and revision control I’ll review and mark up each stage, and the project is complete when the files open without errors, measurements match the sketch intent, and the drawing set is ready to hand to a manufacturer. If you enjoy turning napkin sketches into real-world machines, let’s get started.
