POV Stove-Cooking Video Dataset

I’m building a computer-vision model that must recognise common stovetop actions from a true first-person view. To feed that model, I need raw, egocentric footage of real cooking sessions carried out on a household stove. Here’s what I’m after: • Viewpoint: camera mounted on your forehead, cap, or chest so the footage feels as if the watcher is the cook. • Content: everyday stovetop tasks—lighting the burner, adding oil, stirring, turning food, seasoning, checking doneness, plating. Feel free to include several dishes in one session or record separate clips; variety is valuable. • Environment: a normal home kitchen, not a studio. Natural clutter and background sounds are fine as long as speech is minimal and any people who appear are comfortable being filmed. • Video specs: minimum 1080p, 30 fps, continuous takes of at least 5 minutes each, well-lit so utensils, hands, and cookware are clearly visible. No post-processing; I need the untouched originals. • File delivery: MP4 or MOV via cloud folder. Acceptance criteria 1. All clips show only cooking-on-the-stove activities from a first-person angle. 2. Hands, utensils, cookware, and burner remain in frame the majority of the time. 3. Each file meets the stated resolution and frame-rate. 4. Footage is your own and free of copyrighted music or media in the background. Let me know how many minutes you can supply and the hardware you plan to use (GoPro, Insta360, smartphone head rig, etc.). I’ll confirm quantities and arrange milestones so we can start collecting data right away.
