n8n Automation Engineer Needed to Build Recruitment Operations Workflow

We are looking for an experienced Workflow Automation Engineer to build the core automation infrastructure for a recruitment/staffing operations system. The system will automate repetitive recruitment workflows while keeping recruiters involved in important decisions. This project is primarily about workflow orchestration, integrations and business logic. AI models and AI-specific logic will be handled separately by another specialist.

Responsibilities

Build workflows such as: Candidate/application received → collect information → trigger AI processing → receive structured result → apply business rules → update ATS/CRM → notify recruiter → trigger appropriate follow-up And potentially: New job requirement → capture requirement → send to AI processing → receive structured requirements → store data → create recruitment tasks → notify recruiter Preferred tools: n8n — primary Make HubSpot Airtable Supabase PostgreSQL Google Sheets Slack Gmail/Outlook Calendly OpenAI API integration Deliverables: Core n8n workflows Webhook/API connections CRM/ATS integration Database connection Authentication configuration Error handling Retry logic Duplicate detection Workflow documentation Recorded walkthrough Important: You do not need to build the AI models/agents yourself. Another developer will provide AI components/endpoints that your workflow will call.
