IATA-qualified airline ticketing agent for ongoing support

We are hiring an experienced IATA-qualified airline ticketing agent for ongoing, initially part-time support for an Australian travel platform.

The role

will help us establish and operate a compliant airline ticketing support function through an authorised agency, host/consolidator, or approved GDS arrangement. This is not a request for shared logins, personal credentials, or unauthorised ticketing access.

Responsibilities

may include: • Booking and issuing airline tickets • Fare construction and fare-rule interpretation • Reissues, revalidations, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds • Schedule changes, queues, PNR servicing, and disruption support • ADM prevention and documentation • Supporting leisure and corporate airline bookings • Helping document practical ticketing procedures and escalation paths Required experience: • Hands-on airline reservations and ticketing experience • Proficiency with at least one major GDS: Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport/Galileo • Strong understanding of airline fare rules, taxes, refunds, exchanges, and servicing • Reliable written English and availability for ongoing remote support IMPORTANT SCREENING QUESTION: Do you hold an IATA-issued ticketing qualification or certificate? Whether you have worked with Australian travel agencies, IATA-accredited agencies, hosts, or consolidators 4. Your time zone, weekly availability, and hourly rate 5.
