3D Fighting Game Developer – Android LAN Multiplayer

I’m looking for an experienced 3D game developer or small development team to build an Android 1v1 fighting game inspired by classic 3D fighting games such as Virtua Fighter. Main Requirements 3D fighting game development Android support Responsive, low-latency fighting controls Character movement, attacks, blocking, throws, hit detection, combos, etc. 3D character models, rigging, and fighting animations Frame-based combat system Smooth 60 FPS performance 2-player multiplayer over local Wi-Fi/LAN No internet connection required for the initial multiplayer version Local room/host and join functionality Most Important The main challenge is the fighting engine and responsiveness, not matchmaking or MMR. I need someone who understands how to make a fighting game feel precise and responsive, including animation timing, hitboxes/hurtboxes, attack frames, input handling, and low-latency multiplayer. Experience with rollback networking, deterministic simulation, or fighting games is a strong advantage. Engine I am open to Godot, Unity, Unreal Engine, or another suitable engine. Please recommend the best option based on the requirements. Initial Prototype The first milestone would be: 1 character + 1 opponent + 1 arena + basic fighting + Android + 2-player LAN multiplayer. If the prototype works well, the project can continue with additional characters, stages, combat mechanics, ranking, MMR, and other features.
