Sales Records Entry & Analysis

I have a mix of sales and customer records sitting in Excel/CSV files as well as PDFs and other scanned documents. The job is three-fold: • First, transfer any information that still lives only in the PDFs or images into a master spreadsheet. • Second, review the combined data for duplicates, inconsistent naming, missing values, and any obvious formatting issues, then tidy it so the sheet is clean and analysis-ready. • Finally, generate clear reports and insights from the cleaned data—simple summaries, trends, and any meaningful patterns you can extract. Accuracy is essential; the numbers you key in must match the source exactly, and any transformations should be traceable. When you finish, I expect: 1. A single, well-structured Excel workbook containing all records. 2. A brief data-quality log outlining any assumptions or corrections. 3. A set of report tabs or a separate slide deck highlighting key findings. Familiarity with Excel functions, pivot tables, or comparable data-analysis tools will help you move quickly. If you typically use Python, Power Query, or similar utilities for cleaning large datasets, feel free to do so—the deliverables just need to arrive in the formats above.
