YouTube Video Clean-Cut Editor Needed

I have raw footage for a YouTube video that just needs a tidy, professional polish—no flashy transitions, captions, or effects. I’m after clean, simple cuts that tighten the pacing, remove dead air, and keep the focus on the content itself. Please tell me about your experience handling similar YouTube projects and the software you prefer to work in. Once we agree on the direction, I’ll share the source files and a quick outline of key moments to keep or trim. Deliverable: a single, ready-to-upload 1080p (or higher) file plus the project file, so I can make future tweaks if needed.
