Sull'offerta

I need a seasoned manual tester to put our Windows-based logistics desktop application through its paces. The priority areas are the user interface, overall performance under real-world workflows, and security handling. Within the UI, please zero-in on menus and navigation paths: every hotkey, breadcrumb, and context menu should be exercised so we can be sure nothing blocks a dispatcher in the middle of a shift. You will work on an already-packaged desktop build running on Windows 10/11. I’ll supply the installer, a short functional overview, and access to our bug tracker (Jira) plus a TestRail project where we keep existing cases. Feel free to extend those cases or create new ones as you explore. Deliverables • A structured test report covering UI, performance, and security observations • Repro steps, expected vs. actual results, screenshots or short clips for each defect • A concise performance snapshot (startup time, memory footprint during a standard route-planning session, and any spikes) • A security checklist noting anything from improper permission prompts to data exposure in log files Acceptance is complete when every listed navigation route has a test result, all discovered defects are logged in Jira with clear severity, and the performance/security notes are attached to the TestRail run. If you have desktop app QA experience—especially with logistics, supply-chain, or mapping software—you’ll hit the ground running.
