Excel Timesheet & Payroll Tool

I need a single Excel workbook that lets me drop in a weekly CSV export of crew hours and instantly see three things: • Accurate hourly-wage and overtime totals for every employee • A running tally of material costs linked to each shift or job code • A clean payroll sheet I can hand straight to accounting The CSV import will be the only way timesheet data enters the file, so the tool must include a simple “Select file” VBA macro or Power Query routine that maps the incoming columns to the correct fields automatically. Once the data is in, I should be able to review and, if needed, override hours or rates directly on screen while a separate tab keeps an untouched copy of the raw import for audit purposes. Key calculations: regular vs. overtime hours at variable pay rates, fringe percentages when applicable, and itemised material charges that roll up by employee, job and week. All totals must update in real time without manual refresh and feed a printable payroll summary sheet formatted to US letter. I’m comfortable editing formulas but not code, so please annotate any VBA and add brief inline comments where logic might need future tweaks. Deliver the unlocked workbook together with a short PDF explaining: 1) how to update the pay-rate table, 2) how the overtime thresholds are applied, and 3) how to adjust the material-cost list. The project is done when I can import a sample CSV, review the results, and print the payroll sheet with correct numbers in under five minutes.
