Children's ABC Book Editing & Layout

I’m finalising a children’s A-to-Z picture book that will be donated to a charitable organisation, and I need a fresh editorial eye as well as a keen sense for page design. The manuscript already contains a short story or rhyme for every letter, but some of them still run long. Your first task is to trim each piece so it fits comfortably on a single page without losing its warmth or rhythm. Once the wording is tightened, I’d like the artwork and text to sit side by side on every spread, creating an easy left-to-right reading flow for young eyes. You’ll be working with: • Word files of the text • High-resolution illustrations (PNG and layered PSD) Deliverables • Polished, concise text for all 26 letters (one page per letter) • Print-ready PDF and source files with the side-by-side layout applied consistently throughout • A brief change log so the charity can see what was adjusted I’m happy to answer any questions about tone, style, or technical specs.
