Windows & Linux Desktop App (US Only)

I’m commissioning a brand-new desktop application that must install and run natively on both Windows and Linux. My priority is a unified, maintainable codebase with a polished user interface that feels completely at home on each platform. You’ll start by recommending the most suitable toolkit or framework—Qt, .NET Core, Electron, GTK, or another actively maintained option—explaining why it balances performance, distribution ease, and long-term support. Once we agree on the stack, we’ll move through architecture design, an MVP with the core feature set, a refined production build, and finally a full hand-over that includes source code, build scripts, installation packages (an .exe installer for Windows and distro-friendly packages or AppImage for Linux), plus concise developer documentation.
