Modern Lighting Outlet Interior Design

I’m fitting out a factory-direct lighting outlet and need a complete interior design that feels clean, contemporary and purpose-built for selling lights. The look must be unmistakably Modern: think simple geometry, neutral finishes, and room for the fixtures themselves to shine—literally. The single most important zone is the display area. I want customers to see a broad spectrum of our products at a glance, from ceiling pendants to industrial high-bays, without the space feeling cluttered. Sight-lines, mounting heights, and switchable demo circuits all need to be planned so staff can activate groups of fittings and create instant contrasts for shoppers. Traffic flow matters too. Visitors should enter, move naturally past eye-level “hero” pieces, loop through themed sections, and end up at the service counter ready to purchase. Please make sure pathways stay clear for deliveries; we bring pallets straight from the factory floor. To keep things moving quickly, I’ll need: • Scaled floor plan showing fixture locations, circulation, and service routes • 3D renders or walk-throughs that capture daylight and artificial lighting interplay • Material and colour palette with specifiable finishes (fixtures, wall treatments, flooring) • Basic electrical layout indicating load groups and control points Native files in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or another mainstream format are fine, plus high-resolution visuals for stakeholder sign-off. Accuracy, good lighting calculations, and a presentation that helps non-designers picture the end result will be the deciding factors.
