iOS E-Commerce App Development

The assignment is to create a full-featured e-commerce mobile application built natively for iOS. The finished product should let users browse a catalogue, add items to a cart, check out securely, and manage their orders within a clean, responsive interface. Core scope • Design and build the iOS app from scratch in Swift (UIKit or SwiftUI is fine). • Connect to a back-end or REST API for product data, inventory, user accounts and order history. • Implement secure payments (Stripe, PayPal or Apple Pay) with proper error handling and PCI-compliant best practices. • Add sign-up / sign-in, password reset and social login options. • Provide push notifications for order status and promotions. • Deliver App Store–ready builds plus all source code in Xcode format. Acceptance criteria 1. The app installs and runs on current iOS versions without crashes or critical warnings. 2. All purchase flows complete successfully in sandbox and live payment environments. 3. UI meets Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and scales across iPhone screen sizes. 4. Code is clean, documented and version-controlled (Git). 5. A concise hand-off guide explains build steps, third-party keys and environment variables. Milestones can follow the usual order: wireframes, clickable prototype, MVP build, payment integration, final QA, and App Store submission.
