PeopleSoft Application Development and Maintenance

Worked on PeopleSoft application development, customization, testing, production support, and maintenance across the complete development lifecycle. Involved in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, developing customizations, performing testing and UAT, preparing technical documentation, and supporting migration and deployment activities across environments. Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer for creating and modifying records, fields, pages, components, components interfaces, SQL views, dynamic views, Application Engine programs, and other PeopleSoft objects. Developed and maintained PeopleCode for validations, business logic, field events, component events, and save processing. Developed and supported Application Engine programs using SQL, PeopleCode, State Records, Temporary Tables, Sections, Steps, Do Select, and restart/recovery concepts. Created and optimized PS Queries and SQL for reporting and data analysis. Worked with SQR and BI Publisher for report development and maintenance. Worked with Component Interfaces (CI) for component-based data processing and automation. Used Data Mover, Process Scheduler, File Layouts, and Application Designer for development, configuration, data movement, and batch processing activities. Provided production support by analyzing incidents, troubleshooting application issues, performing root-cause analysis, implementing fixes, and coordinating with functional and business teams. Developed and customized PeopleSoft pages and validations based on business requirements. Supported functional testing, technical testing, test case preparation, defect analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing. Prepared technical design documents, deployment documents, test evidence, implementation documents, and support documentation. Supported migration and deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments, ensuring proper validation and successful implementation of changes. Followed standard development, testing, documentation, and production support processes.
