I need a production-ready AES implementation that I can drop into our stack to protect data at rest. The focus is on clean, well-documented source code that supports 128, 192, and 256-bit keys, CBC and GCM modes, plus straightforward hooks for key rotation. My environment is a mix of Python micro-services and a Java back-end, so a portable C/C++ core wrapped for those languages—or native, equally secure versions—would work. What matters most is that the code passes standard NIST test vectors, includes unit tests, and ships with a concise integration guide.
