Web App UX Design Revamp

I am enhancing an existing web-based application used by building technicians and tradespeople for time tracking and employee scheduling. The current codebase is already up and running, but the user experience still feels rough around the edges. I want a professional, streamlined UX that is clear, modern, and makes every essential detail easy to grasp at a glance. Scope • Redesign the entire web interface with a focus on intuitive navigation and minimal clicks. • Create a main dashboard that clearly surfaces: – Arbeitszeitberichte (working-hour reports) – Einsatzplanung (staff scheduling) – Benachrichtigungen (notifications) • Deliver high-fidelity mock-ups and an interactive prototype so I can test the new flow with real users before we commit to code. • Implement the approved design in my existing codebase. The stack is already set up, so I need clean, well-documented front-end code that drops in with minimal refactoring. Key Goals • Reduce the learning curve for field technicians who may not be tech-savvy. • Keep critical data visible without overwhelming the screen. • Ensure the design remains flexible for future feature additions such as advanced reporting or role-based access control. What I’ll provide • Access to the current repository. • A walkthrough of the present screens and known pain points. • Brand colors, logo assets, and usage guidelines. Deliverables 1. UX audit summary (quick findings + improvement plan). 2. Wireframes and high-fidelity screens for all key views. 3. Clickable prototype (Figma or similar). 4. Production-ready front-end code integrated into the existing project. 5. Handover documentation covering component structure and styling guidelines.
