Residential 2D/3D CAD Drawings

I have a residential project that now needs to move from concept into precise documentation. All drawings must be produced in AutoCAD, fully detailed in both 2D and 3D, and formatted so they can drop straight into council‐ready and builder‐ready sets. Because this is an architectural scope, I need the familiar layers, line weights and annotation standards you already use for houses. Key areas to cover include the complete floor plans for each level, exterior elevation views on all sides, and clear section views that cut through the most critical points of the design. Accuracy of dimensions, correct wall assemblies, window and door schedules, and clean layer management are mandatory so that consultants (structural, MEP) can overlay their own files without a hitch. Deliverables • DWG files for every floor plan, elevation and section • A single combined PDF set suitable for client review • Separate, purged 3D DWG model of the house Acceptance criteria • All drawings open flawlessly in AutoCAD 2021 or later, with no missing Xrefs or fonts • Dimensions and text styles remain associative and to scale when printed at 1:100 • Layers are logically named (A-Wall, A-Door, etc.) and limited to the architectural discipline only • 3D model reflects the 2D sheets exactly, allowing camera views without geometry clashes Attach a brief sample of similar residential work you have drafted so I can confirm drawing style matches the level of detail I’m after. Once I approve the first floor plan sheet, we’ll roll straight into the remainder of the set.
